What we collect, and why
Short version: your email so we can sign you in, and the profile details you choose to give us so your listing is ready at launch. We do not sell any of it.

1. Who is responsible
Kliqon Technologies, Telangana, India, is the data controller for personal data collected here. Contact: hello@myshootmate.com.
2. What we collect
Account: your email address, and a one-time sign-in code sent to it.
Profile: your name or business name, whether you are an individual or a studio, your base location, years of experience, shoot categories, an optional phone number, and an optional link to your existing portfolio or Instagram.
Technical: standard server logs and the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
3. Why we collect it
To sign you in without a password.
To create and prepare your photographer or studio profile so it is ready when the marketplace opens.
To contact you about launch, verification, and things that affect your account.
4. Who else sees it
Our infrastructure providers, who process data on our instructions: Supabase (database, authentication and storage) and Vercel (site hosting). Payment providers are not involved on this site, because no payment is taken here.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with other photographers or with customers before your profile is published by you.
5. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your account and the profile data attached to it, keeping only what we are legally required to keep.
6. Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will action it.
You can unsubscribe from launch emails at any time; we will still send you messages that are necessary to operate your account.
7. Security
Access to your data is restricted at the database level so that you can only read and write your own records. Sign-in is by one-time code — we never store a password for you.
8. Changes
A fuller privacy policy will be published before the marketplace opens, covering bookings, payments and delivered photographs. We will notify account holders by email when it does.
